We have started a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for 1000 Oxygen Concentrators for urgent pre and post treatment in India.
Background
The reason we started this campaign was to provide the required help to patients on ground which is not reaching fast enough. Although there are many big donations campaigns going on, when we speak to our friends and family and doctors on the ground, it is quite evident that more help is needed. Just in Karnataka state of India around 500 patients are dying daily while waiting for treatment. Currently Oxygen concentrators are needed for pre-hospitalisation and post-hospitalisation treatment. These equipment can be shared with others once the patient has recovered.

Charity Campaign Support
The trust that we support (“Nayonika”) were originally an eye care hospital but they have turned themselves into COVID Seva (Service) centre to alleviate the situation. They are registered in FCRA to receive foreign donations and are already receiving many appreciations from government bodies, hospitals and even embassies. Oxygen concentrators for 5-7L are now costing INR 75000 ($1500 AUD) and have become very expensive considering the situation. Trust has also partnered with local BMTC buses to supply these equipment (“Oxygen on Wheels”) to far reaching corners. So far we have managed to procure 150 OC while the demand is for almost 1000.
